URI comes in at 10-2 and beat then #16 NC state earlier in the season. A10 Talk weekly poll has the Kingston Rams ranked #1 and Spiders #2 in the league so expect a close game. Coach and Maggie ensures the team is ready to play after the the break and win a close one 75-73.

Another key game for a Spiders team right at the beginning of the conference schedule, although this is game #2 with the strange early opener on Dec 3rd.

Have more faith that Roussell will have the women ready to play and of course they will be on the road and won’t be underestimating the opponent. Agree it will be a close one. Go Spiders!

Rhode Island is a very good team and could be in at-large discussion themselves. A win there would’ve done well for our at large hopes. A loss doesn’t hurt but our margins are getting thinner. I think we can only afford 2 more regular season losses to be in the at-large discussion and it’s got to be @Davidson, @George Mason, or @Saint Joe’s

Well said, RI is a very good team. Some days it doesn’t go your way, however the team gave it their all. Another great game for Maggie.

Not seeing an at-large birth by this team, but that shouldn’t be on their minds anyway. Need to regroup quickly and work on the passing to cut down on the turnovers. Thought they turned the corner in the 3rd, but URI figured out the zone in the 4th and nailed the 3s.
