As most folks know, SLU is 16–1, riding a 10-game winning streak, and has a real chance to be ranked if they beat us on Saturday. I expect their arena to be close to full and very loud. The Billikens are 4–0 in A-10 play, with their smallest margin of victory being a 9-point win at VCU. Scoring is very balanced — Robbie A. leads the team at 12.7 ppg, but they have five other players averaging double figures.

I lean toward us repeating the same starting lineup we used last night against La Salle, but we’ll be small if Thomas starts, especially given that SLU has several big guards.

I suspect we’ll be in the 12–14 point underdog range. I can see this going one of two ways: either we play our best game of the season outside of Belmont and make Saturday late afternoon very interesting, or we get blown out.

I don’t expect a blow out. Spiders playing fine on the road and the A10 doesn’t have a dominating team. In other words, I expect little noise in the NCAAs from the conference this year.

Expect a 10 point loss, but someone has to spoil the SLU streak. Might as well be UR. Go Spiders!

Saint Louis is going to win by at least 10. That is my prediction for this upcoming game.
