I too watched the women. Looking for the full recap (beyond LaSalle is bad please).
Seems my haltime prognosis came to fruition. Wish I felt more confident after a 21 point win that we have once again turne the corner but a win is still a win.LaSalle is bad - we win unless we find a way to lose.
As poor a scorer as AP is, he had a great assist to Beagle and a great steal on a breakaway. APDid UR play well? It was a 4 point game with 15m left and Lasalle stinks.
2nd half was better. First half should have been a blowout but some truly puzzling plays - Tanner's inbounds turnover for a layup, Thomas's foul on a 4 point play - should not be happening in the 2nd half of a season.
Lasalle is bad, as usual. Such a low-energy game to watch.
I don't mind Daughtry coming off the bench bc he plays well with Aiden and as a primary scoring option when we sit Johnston and Lopez.
AP on offense...it's been said. He had roughly a light year of time to line up that 3, and then missed a layup. Against poor offensive teams that already struggle to score - like Lasalle - his minutes should be light.
Combined opponent record of UR's league wins so far: 2-12. I'll reserve judgment.
You expecting a bit of turbulence?St Louis on Saturday. Buckle up
Ok so afternoon…St Louis on Saturday. Buckle up
So like Davidson last night? We did play better. Several guys looked quite good. Not taking anything away from a good win, but La Salle as advertised is not a good team. It’s easier to play well against a weak team. Big difference in the talent of LS versus a GW. We’ll need to play as well as we did tonight or better when we play St L.
Lets just say, the seat belt sign will be on during the whole flightYou expecting a bit of turbulence?
I agree LaSalle stinks, but I think you could do the exact same thing with every coach out there. What coach wouldn't have a much better record against the bottom teams in their conference? And, sure, leave those games out ( and you are using not one team, and not even two, but three), and Mooney's got a sub .500 A-10 record, as would a ton of coaches if you left out their wins against the bottom 3 teams, but leave VCU out, and he is 174-127 in the A-10.LaSalle stinks, as we all know. Mooney loves beating Fordham, LaSalle and Duquesne. In fact, he's made a career of it! 59-15 against those three in his career. Without them, he's 14 games under in A-10 games for his career and a 52%-winning coach overall. I know, I know, those games count, and they do. But still.
But hopefully better than 2-7 of the next 9…Yep good point sman. The Belmont win had me a little excited, we don't seem to bring consistent effort. Just not seeing the ability to win more than we lose vs GW, GMU, VCU, SLU. Hope im wrong.
