Game Thread - JMU Scrimmage @ RC - Sat 10/25 6pm

Most striking observation. An essentially empty student section. I think the only students here may be the Men’s lacrosse team.
 
Surprise of the game for me so far, as someone just following the box score, is Robinson with 8 points and 3 offensive rebounds in 11 minutes.
 
Only looking at box score here but 4-16 3’s so far where all 4 came from Tyne and 2 of those were bank shots, is not good. Love seeing some meaningful minutes out of JRob.
 
Going to be an extra 10 min period after regulation apparently so wondering if all the players will get some court time or if there will be situational practice.

Hopefully Bryson gets some min in the extra period ... gets in for 30 seconds and turns it over and the infamous Mooney freshman hook

Crazy. Mooney thinks he is smarter than he really is. He should be giving Bryson big minutes to help accelerate his HS recruits protocol. But instead he is prioritizing transfers and going against his ideals. But when u have multiple million contract with no accountability u can pull this absolute BS. Screw Mooney.
 
Again, Mooney lucked into the lottery. Big salary, no media, no accountability, biggest donor is buddy, no results, no plan. But gets to act like he is some great pompous coach. In reality he sucks. Bad. FMM
 
Looks like both JMU and Richmond had 10 players with 10+ minutes. Definitely not what we expect during the regular season, certainly a scrimmage. AJ put up decent numbers, but not terribly efficient. Other transfers did not look good offensively in the box score (I think they went 3-15). 3pt shooting is a big concern. Looking forward to seeing JRob play.

Yeah he is treating the exhibition like a regular game and giving the guy a complex.

All the warmups are off so we will see what young Mooney can show us.
