Clearly a frustrating game for all of us last night. Saturday I fear will be rough given the Walz/Beagle injury situation. Don't see how we can compete with them with 4 6'3 guards on the court most of the time. No score projection.

Frustrating? More like apathetic.

What a terrible possession. Daughtry WIDE OPEN all the way down the court, arm up for Tyne and Tyne doesn't pass it to him. Then we play hot potato around the perimeter until the shot clock is at 2 and Tyne throws up an airball. Brilliant stuff.

Our defense is truly a sight to behold. Horrible concepts, horrible execution and totally the wrong talent for the defe3nse we try to play. And as a result, I'd actually say its among the worst defenses top to bottom I have seen at the collegiate level. I have known we were bad on defense for awhile but it really takes consistent exposure to us playing to understand how really bad we are from concept right on through to all the layups and wide open threes we give up.

Moon is convinced that he has the right plan on defense and its a fluke they made 'em last time, so he's out to prove he is right plus figuring the luck factor will mean they shoot horrible this time.

C’mon. Concentration is on offense. Takes a lot of time to install and become excellent at the weave and milking shot clock. Not much time left to install a good defense. Unfortunately a trade off.

Luckily we send everyone back on defense after a shot on offense. Need to be in position.

Same with rebounding. No time while we learn that offense. But its necessary if we are going to score 50 pts a game on 38% shooting and avoid the embarrassment of being the only team to score under 50 on avg. so lets be thankful for CM and his offensive genius!

The reality is we don’t have the talent to compete with teams at the top of the A10 because recruiting has been inconsistent at best the past 10 years. And our coaching is not good enough to elevate the recruits we bring in
