Looking forward to seeing Section 9 and the rest of Robins crowded, RED, and loud this Sunday at noon, as the program shoots for 5,000 in attendance. Time for SpiderNation to once again show its appreciation and support for Coach Roussell, Maggie, and the rest of the team.

VCU is 6–12 but has played better over its last three games, with wins over SLU and Duquesne and a 5-point loss last night to URI.

I’m expecting a beatdown early Sunday afternoon. Spiders 75 - Rams 50.
 
Kudos to the university for really going all in on advertising the operation code red for this game. I’ve seen several emails from the university, Hallock had it in his winter address, it’s on their website and across social media platforms. Wonderful to see. Also great how we’re advertising the incredible accomplishments of Doogan and our women’s team.

Why we can’t do stuff like this with the men’s side too who knows. This is what having basketball as an institutional fit top to bottom at a university means. Needs to have a groundswell of support from the whole university. Hope there’s a big turnout at this game!

Lots of red here this early afternoon and folks were here early too. I am usually one of a few in the building 30 minutes before tip, but it looked like I was late today.

Weird to be at a game versus VCU and not see a major invasion.

Going to be the biggest crowd in RC since last winter
 
There had to be more than 5200 people there. The RC was packed and the capacity of the arena is around 7000.

I think there was creative counting. I have been tracking the official Men’s attendance and the highest attended game was St Joe’s with a crowd of 5230. Interesting that this one was 5224. #conspiracytheory
