It will be interesting to see who ends up in the afternoon slot. One thing is for certain, the amount of public discussion on the Spiders will decrease. There wasn't much to begin with and the one strand left is JOC. There will never be zero coverage, but I think we are on an asymptotic path (sorry I know there isn't supposed to be any math ).

All part of the plan by Triumvirate to have zero coverage and expectations. Luck into NCAAs every 8 to 12 years and then back under the rock and adulation of most wins in program history. Very exciting.

Wow. Big Al killed local sports radio for me. There was nothing quite like listening to him eat his breakfast and talk about the Redskins and chat with Ivan at the same time.

Say what you want about Big Al....but he absolutely played a major role in saving us from the Patriot League debacle in 2005 when we were considering a move. Him and Ray Tate lit up the phone lines that morning to make sure it didnt happen. I know because I was interning at 950 at the time. We don't get a natty without allowing Spider fans to absolutely bury the Cooper administration. Very boring listen, but will give you the shirt off his back.
