Attendace FCS

Yeah, but we’re struggling ourselves. Slow starts every year and boring game plans doesn’t help our attendance.
The same chart shows UR at nearly 6K and 68% capacity and that is for a rather boring team with a 6-4 record and 0.500 record in conference. Based on the article would seem that UR Football is in a much better place. However, I agree that UR is lacking in the promotion department.

To a fan viewing on TV, I would say the 6k was the total attendance for the year not a per game average.
How are they calculating that? It certainly isn't fannies in the seats!
If a portion of the student activity fee goes to free tickets for games, I can see that accounting for 3k of the 6. If they sold 2.5 k in season tickets, I would be surprised with the fan base supporting football aging out. Walk ups can't be more than 500 a game.

Having our stadium over the mountain from campus in the middle of cornfields does not make it a magnet for students. Add in the administration discourages "traditional" tailgating festivities and you have a recipe for muted attendance. We used to have a stadium in the heart of campus but it was torn up and discarded.
