I felt the same, that that runner is the game winner and they have to hit their way on.

Yes. Tie game, then of course you walk the guy.

They probably had some analytics that told them what to do, instead of trusting your own brain and coaching the game you're playing.

Hitting a batter in that situation is simply unacceptable. I've seen it too frequently with our pitchers in the past. Have to have better control then that.

The Spiders take on the ODU Monarchs today at Pitt Field in a mid week in state match up. ODU strikes first with a 2 run homer in the Top of the 2nd. 2-0 Monarchs
