SF - I'm pretty sure that's correct assuming there are no more defections by May 1. But then break it down by class:

Freshmen - 5
Sophomores - 4
Juniors - 1
Seniors - 1

We could really use some experience - and a big or two - from the portal.

One last oddity - yesterday the web site's roster page showed the six returnees. When you click on "Roster" today you get the coaches page. Purposeful or more crack work by the athletic department?

There is no separate coaches page, they're just at the bottom of the roster page. They recently created a 2026–27 roster page due to Kresge's arrival, but I didn't catch it when they had the returning players on it. You're correct that there are currently no players listed on it.

I noticed the same disappearance of the 6 returners. Maybe they plan to have a replacement page to coincide with Wednesday’s introduction of our new coach (es)

Hope that Kresge is prioritizing bringing Hanson from Vermont. She’s a grad transfer after 3 years so shouldn’t be a problem with UR admissions.

Hanson appears to need a waiver. She played 9 minutes her freshman year and they were scattered throughout the season.

Flipping Coogen is tough. The Hoos are truly deeper than us and I think the freshmen would have more opportunities here to get more minutes on the court.
