2025–26 opponent tracking

Moon made it seem W&M definitely out because of that except I think he might reconsider giving up our marquee ooc game.
It's okay, I hear they're on the verge of joining the A-10, so he'll be forced to play them. They just need a couple of CAA championships and an NCAA bid to prove they're worthy. Easy peasy.

Another winless night for our OOC opponents.

Campbell got a bucket with one second left to nip W&M. Samford was up 17 on The Citadel with a little over two minutes to go and somehow only won by 3. And Chu moved to 4–0 against our Big South opponents, completing the season sweep of Gardner-Webb after previously doing it to Charleston Southern.

2/19

Non-conference (0–4, 0–3 D-I vs D-I))
- Mary Washington (D-III) 91, Southern Virginia (D-III) 77
- Campbell 84, W&M 83
- Radford 82, Gardner-Webb 70
- Samford 78, The Citadel 75

Gardner-Webb - just an atrocious team, probably the worst D1 team I've seen in 5 years.
In the middle of no where and Shelby, NC is closest town of size. For fun you go south to Greenville/Spartenburg, SC or east to Charlotte, NC or north to Hickory, NC or west to Asheville, NC. Facilities are old and need serious updating.
Has to be a tough place to attract D1 talent.

But less snow than Olean, NY.

Also a Christian school so that is gonna rule out a lot of prospects.

Watching this SLU v. VCU game had me thinking, when was the last time we played a FridA10 game? Seems like it’s been forever.

The last time the Spiders were in the Friday night Showcase were twice in 22-23 Season and both against VCU. This year Dayton, St. Louis and VCU are participants in the most Friday night games.

VCU's entire bench and almost all of SLU's bench ejected with 1.1 seconds left. 😂

I actually liked watching that game until the last possession. No love lost between these 2 teams and I imagine it is going to spill over to the A10 tournament should they meet again.

The Rams had it going in the 1st half, but couldn’t knock out STL and then STL returned the favor in the 2nd.

This will make 2 years in a row an incident has happened at the St. Louis vs VCU game in St. Louis. Last year it was between fans in the stands from both teams. I agree Avila got away with a cheap shot.
