2025–26 opponent tracking

Even when WM was down the big deficit, I never counted them out, unlike the UR game when I started watching just before half, I knew UR was toast.

Three games on the docket today, headlined by Duquesne beating Rhody by 15.

ECU had a nice 1-point win over FAU, while Furman looked in danger of blowing a big lead over Chatty but got it done.

2/1

Non-conference (2–0)
- ECU 76, FAU 75
- Furman 75, Chattanooga 70

A-10
- Duquesne 76, Rhody 61

Caught some of the Dukes / Rhody game. Both teams just launching 3s all game, not taking any mid range 2s.

Can't wait until we take 30 mid range shots against DU and lose despite having a far better shooting %.

Math is hard.

Dayton got pushed by Bona and Fordham wouldn't let VCU break away, but the favorites ultimately pulled out the wins. Loyola took down La Salle, while Davidson led SLU by as many as 13 in the first half and were still up 5 at the break, but a 16–0 Billiken run in the second half flipped the script.

Southern Virginia won their 6th straight and are atop the USA South at 8–1 in conference play. Belmont kept things rolling in a high-scoring affair with Drake, though Noyes only had 3 points in 13 minutes. And Southern Illinois got a nice win over Illinois State in a defensive-minded game.
