Zach Chu article worth reading

That would be 67% career 3-point shooter, Zach Chu.

This seems like a more logical way to build teams at the mid-major level in the current landscape of college basketball. Have a data driven approach to find players each year with a lower paid HC and put your money into paying players vs. putting your resources into a highly paid HC who thinks high school recruiting is the way to win these days.

Great read. Always love the smart kid underdog lol. Definitely caught the eyes of NBA guys early and has impressed every step of the way.

Did not realize his dad was in significant legal trouble. He was supposed to be giving considerable funding to Radford's NIL budget, but that's obviously not happening now.

Interesting tidbit (that probably could/should have been more than a tidbit?) that his dad is founder of Tricolor and was recently indicted for bank and wire fraud after having pledged to contribute to the Radford NIL fund... Calls into question whether he got the job at least in part because of that anticipated financial contribution.

I posted this on the Coaching Tree thread 2 days ago. Nice scoop @UR Fan 2 😂

I should have mentioned you in the post knowing your love for analytics.

Article on Chu in the Athletic. It was interesting. All in on analytics. Will be interesting to see what Radford can do in the Big South.

It’s a good read. The bit about his dads donation and legal woes is a bit weird, but so are big time college sports.

Happy for Zack.
