I agree should be embarrassed, but Hurley had been warned about being on court earlier in game.Ha ha. Bet we don't see that annoying phone commercial with the Boozer family anymore.
Stupid is as stupid does. Freshmen panicked at the most crucial time. Just hold onto the ball and the game is over.
That announcer should be embarrassed. Begging for a T.
He has always been on the court. My wife started hating him back in his Rhode Island days as he was always way out on the court when playing in the Robins Center. She was always like “Why do the refs allow him to do that all the time?”If the Duke radio guys really wanted something to talk about, check out this clip of Hurley. I believe this occured after the shot but before the end of the game. Really ballsy to tempt a technical if my timeline is correct on this.
And Fan1, went to the BE championship game - and Hurley was literally 2-3 feet on the court the entire time. Pitino would occasionally come over and then realize and step back. Hurley does it more as an F U to the refs IMO.
Great coach, but really pushes the envelope between crazy and crazier
I'd argue UConn had the better team. Duke just had the Boozers. nobody else did anything. What a choke job. Literally just let them foul you. Duke had the better team, UConn had the better coach.
But did he ever go as far as Shaka did one time at the Robins Center? The sideline was on one side of our ball handler and Shaka was on the other side in the frontcourt…If the Duke radio guys really wanted something to talk about, check out this clip of Hurley.
