Great win for our program yesterday. This is in no way shape or form trying to dismiss the accomplishments this team has had so far or suggest they are not a top team in the country or worthy of the ranking, but our wins appear to have lost a lot of its luster. UVA is 3-3 with no quality wins. Georgetown is 1-3 with a decent win over Penn and other losses to top teams. Cornell lacrosse is 3-2 with a decent win over Denver and then getting smacked by Penn State yesterday.
Hopefully this doesn’t hurt our chances for a top 8 seed. Obviously we’ll have one if we’re undefeated. I think we’ll have one even with a loss to Notre Dame. A loss from Notre Dame and 1 loss in A10 play and I still think we’ll be in as an at large but unseeded.
