eww. please stop saying that.Although, I'm still of the opinion that Aiden is playing in black and gold next year.

I hope it doesn't happen, but think about it. He gets to stay local, he will get paid more, and he gets to go to a program that realistically competes for an NCAA bid each year. Or he can stay here, play a bunch of garbage schools in the OOC get embarrassed in front of his friends and family, twice a year when we play his other hometown team and have no realistic chance to go to the NCAA.eww. please stop saying that.
If Aiden is at VCU next year, that should be a huge strike against Mooney and his mis management of NIL and roster building and providing hope and a forward thinking program.Tanner should get zero. He's been here 3 years is not an A-10 player, we should do everything in our power to incentivize him finding some where else to play in the transfer portal. If he does want to stay here and get his degree, that is fine, keep him on scholarship but pay him nothing. Any sliver of money that we give to him, we should throw on Aiden's plate.

I know people on here don't give a crap about VCU, but Hill, Lewis and Djokovic will all be commanding at least $500k next year if not more. If not there, it will be somewhere else. No way they will keep all of those guys.Right, the issue is - even if some have doubts that he could step into a starting role in the SEC or at St Johns per se, those teams would easily pay $500k to bring in a guy just as a 4th guard / insurance policy.
if they have a $5M budget they might.I know people on here don't give a crap about VCU, but Hill, Lewis and Djokovic will all be commanding at least $500k next year if not more. If not there, it will be somewhere else. No way they will keep all of those guys.
right, that is a concern. It is so easy to go across town now. Exactly the reasons (NIL being equal) being that he sees the success, the all in attitude and playing big time teams. Then he looks at our program and hears Mooney's monotone inteviews with NO direction and says" Love ya my Spider brothers but damn a guy has to look out for number 1".I hope it doesn't happen, but think about it. Thanks. Totally pulling this out of thin air just to make it clear that I have no inside info. I just reasoned through how we would go about allocating $2 million to our guys.
Let’s leave some of those opinions in the past with the old forum. That’s what Spiderstudent17 said not Spider172 mil that’s not much. Remember Spider17 when u said that’s what CAA Football schools were paying!?

Not gonna agree or disagree but only point out that Moon would disagree because he sees Tanner as a starter.Tanner should get zero. Isn't a 2 million budget enough to make the math work???if they have a $5M budget they might.
My question would be why? Would he even be a role player for top 4 A-10 teams? I don't like being so critical, and congrats to Tanner for being in the 1-3% range to get a college scholarship, but I see a CAA role player (which is fine and a pretty major accomplishment), not an A-10 starter. Not gonna agree or disagree but only point out that Moon would disagree because he sees Tanner as a starter.
He's A10 goodI don't think Djokovic is that good. He's also a soccer level flopper/actor and an A+ whiner.
apparently not.Isn't a 2 million budget enough to make the math work???
