Sorry to have been slacking creating Game Threads lately - GW is 13-14 overall but onkly 5-9 in the A10. ESPN projects a 93% chance of a Spiders win.

Another rough start shooting the ball. We look heavy legged again. Plenty of time left but fighting through a physical hurdle overall right now.

Not much better in 2nd. Defense was a little better and maybe some more energy but shot poorly again and scored under 10 points again.

Seeing the effects for sure of the facts we haven't been able to generate a whole lot of production outside the big three all year and that has to be wearing on the 3. They are responsible for so, so much. Teams have been really pressuring all three which makes their load even bigger. The others are very limited contributors and tend to be very one dimensional in their contributions still. Newell and Wright can defend, but they just aren't good fits in our offense with their season long struggles shooting from 3. Dewey and Simon are OK on offense but not great on defense and both need to be doing more rebounding etc. Persichetti seems to have hit the freshman wall a few games back and has been losing minutes for a bit now. Someone (preferably more than one someone) is going to have to really step up and help take some of the load off the Big 3. Not just tonight but the rest of the way this season!

Not good at all. Heading to a 2nd straight game without getting to 40 points isn't good at all! And its got to be more than tired legs! Wonder if its possible we have sickness going around and just aren't announcing it because we look very non-energetic and the shooting is awful.

Defense lifting us but its still a struggle. Now missing a chance to put it away with no rebounding and missed FTs. And Missed FT lead to a transition opportunity for GW. Its a tough night. Need to just hang on and escape.
