And about 25 pct vs VCU. 3 NCAA’s in 20 years with 14 years between last 2 appearances. Best job in college basketball. It’s in the running, but there have been so many bad losses under Mooney it’s easy to lose count. He ain’t Mr. 55% for nothing.

We should never, ever lose to Elon in basketball. Ever. Richmond's administration is just paying lip service to its flagship sport. Total BS. And people other than me are starting finally to figure it out. They tried to trick you with that embarrassing OC schedule. It’s in the running, but there have been so many bad losses under Mooney it’s easy to lose count. He ain’t Mr. 55% for nothing.
Not to fret. National powerhouse Citadel comes into friendly confines of the RC Saturday to help us right the ship. A game like this surely will prepare us for A10 play.Just when I was getting my hopes up, here we are again. Damnit Chris!
Adjustments? Adjustments? You're talking Adjustments?First, I didn’t enjoy listening to Bob Black for an entire game. I learned how much better some of the other announcers I listen to are.
Second, I am laughing at many of the comments. Torvik has this as a 54% chance of a win with a 1.1 point margin. You had to know it was going to be close. I knew it was over as soon as the turnovers continued early in the 2nd half. I didn’t see any of the game but as soon as I heard zone and kept hearing zone, I knew the Spiders were in trouble.
Hopefully, the team learned something and the coaching staff will make some adjustments. There are going to be plenty of close games in conference play and many will be on the road.
Last, thank goodness there are no more Flo games.
So Mooney is now going to study up how other coaches attack a zone and imorove? Right.Adjustments? Adjustments? You're talking Adjustments?
That's a hell of a commentary on the state of Richmond men's basketball.I guess the one and only good thing about our schedule is, like the Furman game, I am not that upset that we lost because these OOC games mean nothing.
Hey, it's a chance to break-even with the powers of the Socon. Who's got it better than us.Not to fret. National powerhouse Citadel comes into friendly confines of the RC Saturday to help us right the ship. A game like this surely will prepare us for A10 play.
We’re already even…win over VMI and loss to Furman. A win on Saturday over #357 The Citadel locks us up with a winning record over the SoCon.Hey, it's a chance to break-even with the powers of the Socon. Who's got it better than us.
Like i said, who's got it better than us? I forgot that Elon moved all their sports over to the CAA. Thanks for the reminder. Unfortunately that doesn't make me feel better. We’re already even…win over VMI and loss to Furman. A win on Saturday over #357 The Citadel locks us up with a winning record over the SoCon.![]()
What are the chances of going 4-1 and then 4-9 in the A10?So if we look at the season so far, we have beaten almost exclusively bad teams playing at home. Playing teams around 150ish (using KenPom numbers) neutral or away, we are 0-2. And we have 1 good win against Belmont. Which result is starting to look like the aberration?
A-10 could go either way in my opinion (and by either way I mean we could MAYBE get to .500 in conference or maybe just slide into oblivion and win 4 games. This team is riding the energy that (to their credit) they have created, but if some losses start to pile up, you have to wonder if it will start to sap the energy.
Was hoping that woman with the broom would sweep Mooney up.
