After seeing earlier posts by 2 individuals including Talia Goodman that Maggie would play in the April 4 Allstar game, her name did not appear on the roster released yesterday.

The WNBA draft is in a few weeks. Perhaps didn’t want to risk injury or it interfered with some other important commitment.

Just read a CBS article projecting Lauren Betts to Washington Mystics in round 1; and projects Maggie Doogan to Washington as 19th overall pick in round 2. I would welcome having Maggie in vicinity of Richmond.

Have no idea how accurate these projections are, but it will be great for her if she gets picked by an East Coast team.

Maggie Doogan played about 7 and a half minutes. Played during 3rd and 4th quarters. Was 2 of 2 from the line. Team was plus 1 with her in the game. Did not touch the ball much. Did not do much to help or hurt her chances. Phoenix won over Chicago 108. - 104. Each team gets 2 developmental roster spots where players are limited to 12 regular season games. That may be where Maggie lands if she does not get chosen for a regular roster spot. I am concerned that the training camp may be too short of an evaluation period.
