Dominick Stewart - Transfer Commit

Fits the profile of what an A-10 team should be looking for in the portal. I am sure Mooney got good intel on this player from Rhodes.

I’m having a real hard time getting too excited about these thrown together draft style teams. We will see if Mooney and staff can craft a cohesive team in short order or not. Will the third time be the charm?
We already know what the offense, defense, and rebounding will look like. To your point as correctly stated - can CM and staff craft a cohesive team? It seems we’ve picked up some good players. Will they jell in MoonSys? Let’s hope so. Another year like the last 2 would be brutal. Here’s to a better season.

count me in the group that thinks that the MilkMoonball systems are not built to be big winners or make deep NCAA runs. Even in best recent seasons like 2022 and 2024, were exploited many, many times (6th place in 2022, blowout loss to Providence who dominated both sides of the ball), OOC and end of season in 2024, etc.

They work against lazy, sloppy, poorly coached teams. Better coaches and aggressive defenses cause problems consistently for Moonball.

I don't think that they exploit talent differentials when those are in UR's favor, and I dislike that the offense settles for what the defense gives (often a non-shooter in the corner wide open) instead of forcing the defense to play against UR's preferred shot the majority of the time.
