Did Ball De-Committ?

Not sure what would fall under strategic communications for basketball??? Maybe when Mooney announced going to man to man that one year :)
 
nothing gets posted until agreement is signed. Nothing else matters. agency put out that Brady Dunlap committed to UCSB and then 3 days later he signed w/ Georgia.....
 
So when his agency reported it to the Athletic and that was posted on April 18th, the docusign was complete?

Until he/she has actually signed a financial aid agreement or LOI, it's a secondary NCAA violation for the school to post any information about a player (or even reference the recruit publicly).

Programs provide photos and graphics of the recruit wearing the uniform, etc., to the kid following his visit, so they can post it if they wish.
 
Someone posted that according to the assistant coaches, Ball’s deal is north of $350k. Crazy for the lack of production at a low tier school.

I mean I don't think our marketing department should post anything about him joining us until it is official. So, if he signed this morning, it was appropriate for them to wait until this morning to say so.

He has now signed.

It's possible I'm confusing myself at this point, but I thought there had been previous social media posts of him with the signed graphic.

Edit: I guess I'm just confused, as I now can't find an earlier "signed" graphic, just the generic visit one. My bad. So yeah, he committed last week, but the paperwork wasn't final until this morning-ish.

While that does seem like a lot, I think there is a trickle down effect. Top guys - especially anyone with size - are getting $4 million plus, so it just keeps ticking down a bit from there. So this does not surprise me. He had production, and is 6'9 - so not shocked.
