2026 Offers

We would never had previously lost a recruit to Lafayette. Now it’s very possible
that our recruiting ability for Patriot players will be hindered due to the continual early
exodus of eligible players along with mediocre on field results.Parents of recruits are well aware of UR football team’s dysfunctionality.

Good catch, I missed that. No such hashtag on his tweet about the Lafayette offer.

Curious why with all our departures, we're doing PWO offers to guys who appear to be getting schollie offers from the likes of Monmouth and Lafayette.

I agree with you Nut. Kids transferring up means quality player development for those looking to get to NIL level or more playing time for those that want to stay the course and get a UR degree.

Why don’t we use Jeff Nixon, Brian Jordon, Tim Hightower, Kobie Turner, and more of our Alumni that made it to the Pros! If you are good enough, they will find you!
Please add more success story’s 🏈🕸️🕷️

I think this also shows UR currently recruits at a different level than many in the Patriot League. The issue becomes can we keep those athletic guys on our roster long enough to get the results in two years that a four year player would provide once they develop and mature.

agree totally. If we are going to compete like Villinova and want to go to the playoffs
we have to still bring in same caliber of players that our staff has been recruiting!🏈🕷️🕸️

Been keeping an eye on this RB out of the Dallas area and you may remember discussing him on the old board...Cam Newton, but no relation to that Cam Newton it appears. 2400 yards rushing this season and picking up lots of awards.

We offered him back in May and he had well over a dozen D-I offers at the time, but didn't end up committing and signing early anywhere for some reason. Lafayette offered him a week ago, and we're definitely still after him as we just headed down for a visit.
