Spiders receive a commitment from Lyla Coogen class of 2026. 6’3” wing. Ranked 4th in class in Virginia. Some other D1 offers include Georgetown, GW, Bucknell, and Navy.

Our class of 2026 commits so far:
Lyla Coogen - 6’3” wing out of Virginia
Erica Gribble - 5’11” guard out of Pennsylvania (ranked #80 ESPN)
Kate Schindler - 6’1” guard out of North Carolina
Bridget Rifenburg - 6’ guard out of Illinois
 
Believe we have 6 that will use up their eligibility this season, plus we have an unused slot, so we could take 7 in this class before accounting for any transfers out. All of the players in their final seasons are 6'1" or taller, with Ullstrom really the only one who's classified as a guard, for whatever that's worth in our system of a PG plus four pretty interchangeable parts.
 
I took a quick look at Fontana's Twitter account and she had five Ivy League offers (Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Penn and Princeton) among many others.
 
Yep, she had a boatload of offers including what seems like most of the A10 as mentioned, plus a couple of lower-end BE schools in Providence and Butler, a few higher-end MAC schools, and plenty of other lower-conference programs.
