To be fair, SLU and VCU do not have a football team, which allows them to spend more on basketball. An FCS football team represents at least a $5M hit to the athletics budget.
Plus UR is increasing its investment in the basketball roster. It is simply the staff that they can’t seem to realize needs drastic improvement.
