You have to respect that. With 5 different coaches too. Quite remarkable.
And this year a brand new coach in Martelli put up over 20 wins & prob makes NCAA. Coach for prior 2 years at VCU (Ryan Odom) now at UVA rebuilt their lineup, finished in 2nd place ACC, playing for conference championship.

We could go back plenty of years and coaches with VCU. They own Mooney, they consistently make NCAA, and must be doing something right that our admin & coach aren't. IT SHOULD BE US.

VCU. Net 44. 6-7 record in Q1/2 games. 26-7 record. Have won 15 of the last 16.

Weak bubble this year. Ole Miss and SDSU lost today. Many bracketologists had them in going into this weekend and VCU has only won as other bubble teams lost with not many bid thieves.

To me they’re in. We’ll see tomorrow what happens.

honestly compared to the mediocre P4 teams they are up against for a possible at large spot, a 26-7 A10 team deserves to be in.

Also, I like the specificity of 26 wins being mentioned. Moon would probably like to talk about 20 win seasons, which means far, far less than it used to, in modern 31-34 game seasons + conf. tourneys. A 20 win season is like a 6th place A10 team nowadays (update: just checked and Davidson went 20-13 and finished in 6th in A10.)

Consistently winning big is what Moon is incapable of. Two seasons of 25 or more wins, none since Kevin Anderson graduated.

VCU? NINE seasons of 25 or more wins (out of 14 total years) since joining the A10.

Not a fan of VCU but I can respect their commitment to winning, which is in stark contrast to John P. Hardt's regatta.
