2025–26 opponent tracking

Just the one Spider impact game for today, and it was a big one as 6-seed Furman finished off their SoCon tournament run and are going dancing.

3/9

Non-conference (1–0)
- Furman 76, ETSU 61 (SoCon Final)
I have to say that these mid-major and lower conferences sure are exciting in the sense that basically any team can win as there is a level playing field. The madness of March is alive, but perhaps only in the non-P5 conference tournaments. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an upset in the A10 either. Granted it isn’t coming from a pillow fight team.

But, but, but, but ,what ‘bout the regatta flag ship UR Mediocrity? The stability, the longevity, the competitiveness? Oh that’s right, captained by the losingingest.

Well, we get to watch the rest of the season from the sidelines, with the last of the conference tournaments this week and then heading into the real postseason. Maybe next season we'll get another taste of something like that. Or maybe not.

3/11

A-10
- Bona 99, La Salle 80 (A-10 1st Round)

A day after knocking out the Spiders, Loyola took Davidson to OT but came up short. And on the OOC side, Charlotte advanced in the American tournament with a win over Tulane.

3/12

Non-conference (1–0)
- Charlotte 74, Tulane 60 (American 2nd Round)

A-10 2nd Round
- GW 66. Fordham 62
- Bona 63, Mason 57
- Duquesne 67, Rhody 61
- Davidson 64, Loyola 59 (OT)

And in other opponent news, K-State has zeroed in on Belmont's Casey Alexander to be their next coach.

just turned on the last A10 tourney game of the day. Friday night prime time...and a million empty seats in the arena. Also I had to go wtf through youtubetv listings to find the game which is on that high-profile sports network CNBC.

Richmond taking its cues from the A10 on how to run out a mediocre product and call it good enough.
