Just seeing this. I was there. No one "rushed" the field. After the game, there is a five-minute period to allow the visiting team to get to their locker room. At that point the field is opened up to fans. The students, who have sideline seats, always go onto the field after the game to mingle...

The new D Hall is much nicer, obviously. But I loved the Refectory, especially when it was still single-sex. You saw all your friends and really everyone from our side of the lake, so you at least knew most of your classmates by sight. And it was great when they opened the side room at 10 p.m...
