Wheel of Excuses (in no particular order)

We are young
We competed
We played them tougher the second time (only lost by a few the second time)
Really proud of how we finished the game strong
I can’t explain why we started so slow
The injuries have really hit us hard
We can’t overcome the NIL spent on other teams and players
We will try to find better players in the portal
Just wait till next year our talent will be better
If we played in a better conference our chances would be better
We should be glad we have a coach that is such a great ambassador to this wonderful university
The academic standards are just too high

Hypothetical - the NCAA expands to a 96 team tournament.

UR would not have made it Burton's senior year or last year (Nescovic/B. Artis season) and would have made it the King/Bigs/Quinn/Dji year.

This year with a NET of 142 and currently a bottom 4 in A10, safe to say we don't make it either.

Honestly Moon is lucky that they did not expand bc not making a 96 team tournament 3 of 4 years - and being nowhere near a 96 team bubble - is basically grounds for immediate dismissal of any coach.

Solution? 128 team tournament.
