Spiders leave the friendly confines of RC for their biggest non-conference game of the year in Austin versus the 4th ranked Lady Longhorns. Texas desecrated the Incarnate Word 123-51 on Monday night.

For YouTubeTV customers such as myself, big challenge now is figuring out how to watch since not sure SEC Network is also available on ESPN+?

I’m in the same boat with YouTube TV and also have ESPN+ and am not sure how to watch the game. It’s on SECN+ and not just the regular SEC Network so not sure if that’s an extra subscription needed or part of YouTube TV that’s down because of the disagreement between them and Disney.

thx - clarified thread title to reflect SECN+ .. yeah just like for most years I breakdown and fo the Flo thing for a game against CAA team, I hope and have to think there is a way to fork over some extra $$ or via trial subscription to watch.

Our best non-con games are on networks that might need extra subscriptions. Texas (SECN+); TCU & Green Bay (Flo). I’ll certainly try a free membership or even pay the shortest time interval subscription to watch this team play. If YouTube TV and Disney don’t come to an agreement by Friday, then only way to watch that game is through another TV provider that has agreement with SEC Network which is part of ESPN.

I have simply switched from YouTubeTV to Hulu Live! Basically the same thing and Hulu is owned by Disney so it has (and always will have) all the ESPN stuff. No commitment past a month and I dropped You Tube for the month now. I will contemplate a switch back if and when YouTube gets all the Disney stuff (i.e. ESPN) back. But this is bad business for You Tube. I might switch back but I might not if it turns out I like Hulu better anyway and I have been literally forced to try it for a month. I feel certain they are losing subscribers. The Eagles are on Monday night Football this coming Monday night - - You TubeTV will have zero Philadelphia subscribers left if they don't fix it by then. Bars around here are advertising they have dropped You Tube in favor of Hulu so you can go there and watch the game. Google is doing their bully thing, but I think they miscalculated!

local Comcast lists SECN as channel 913; so I went through guide on Friday, not showing our game. Did voice search for game and found it will be shown on ESPN3, an internet channel.

Might be time for a watch party at a local sports bar....
I like the idea of a Forum watch party, but not for this specific game. The Lady Spiders are going to be hard pressed to keep this game close I am afraid. Have a ways to go to get to the level they were at last year. I think they have potential, but aren’t there yet.
