A10 and Bracketology

VCU shows time and time again that with the right institutional commitment, the right AD, and the right coach, it doesn’t matter if it’s someone’s first year with a practically new roster or not, they can be successful. You have to respect that.
And last year's VCU coach heads up I64 to Cville to almost completely rebuild the UVA roster, come in 2nd in conference, and head to Big Dance as a high seed.

But we have Hardt & Coach For Life with back to back 5-14 A10 years. Makes one wonder if we are cursed.

Not cursed. Either incompetent, ignorant, or indifferent about the results we’ve had. One day that’ll change with the right leadership. At least I hope it will.

According to ESPN, it looks like VCU will be a 11 seed and play Louisville, the winner to play Illinois or Penn.
St. Louis is a 9 seed and will play Clemson, with the winner to play Florida.

Both are good match ups.

vcu gets an 11 and Seth Davis said they were behind Miami of Ohio and therefore would not have made it unless they won today. Told you there was no way they would have given the A10 three bids.
Seth doesn't know what he is talking about. How does he know they were behind Miami? A conference champ had to be an 11 seed. Doesn't mean VCU wouldn't have replaced one of the 4 play in teams had they lost.

Okay, EL was right. They just said VCU would not have been in. But, we can't assume that was because of A-10 bids. VCU very well could have been behind SMU, who they said was their last team in. They also said Miami was ahead of 3 other teams. So, Seth was wrong with that.
