I know many on here think Mooney will definitely be back next year. I keep having a little hope that we could see some positive news a few days after a 20 point, 1st game A-10 tourney loss.

These last 2 seasons are the lowest it has been since Mooney started here. These 2 years are way worse than the back to back 20 loss seasons. As bad as those years were, we went 17-23 against the A-10 then, way better than our current 10-25 mark.

10-25 against A-10 teams the past 2 seasons. There is no justification for not having a new coach next year.

We all loved the A-10 tourney title and the Iowa win. But, that was 4 seasons ago. Since then, we have gone 7-11, 15-3, 5-13, and 5-11 in the A-10. Add in the 1-3 A-10 tourney record, and we are 33-41 against A-10 teams the past 4 seasons, including 10-25 the past 2. 10-25!!!!!!!

Loyola had 1 win in their last 14 games before beating us, with losses by 35, 27, 27, 21, and 20 points.

We have now lost 4 games to teams with NETs of 198 or worse: 198 Furman 210 Elon 241 Ch Southern 303 Loyola It would be pretty bad and unacceptable to lose just one of these games every 10 years. We have lost 4 of them this year. WTF! WT flying F!!!!

We are all frustrated, but I don't think we have to go back to that game. The A-10 tourney title and the win over Iowa was pretty awesome. But, even that seems like a long time ago after these past 2 seasons.

No doubt. As bad as I felt for our guys that year when we were 24-7 and dance bound, you had to feel really bad for them. They were legit. And, sure, they have done a lot better than we have since then, but the bottom line is they, just like us, have had one dance appearance and one dance win...

I hear u. Although it could be argued Dayton has not been that dramatically different with Grant. I mean, this is year 9 and he has 1 dance win. That seems like they are being incredibly patient, and not holding someone accountable.

Leaving Mooney out of it, if you were a Dayton fan, would you be happy paying a guy 2.5 million with a 5 million NIL if he gave you 2 dance teams and 1 dance win 9 years? Just because it doesn't make sense for us doesn’t mean it doesn't make sense for them.

Bench is not deep. We have too many bench guys ( or even non A-10 worthy guys) starting and too many non A-10 worthy guys on the bench.

I guess they need to work on passing it around the perimeter all game till someone takes a shot against the clock? I didn't watch a minute of the game, but I'm sure this happened multiple times.
